Musicians-keyboard players-Any recommendations on a keyboard with workstation?
For my daughter, an advanced intermediate piano player. She wants to be able to record one part & then play along another part & mix, I guess. She loves the different sounds that a keyboard can do & wants it mobile so she can play for song time at youth services at church & other ministries and to have it in her dorm at college.
It’s going to be between the Korg, Yamaha and Roland
First look at memory. One of those, I think it was the Korg, used obsolete memory. You want one with common flash memory like SD or Compact Flash
Next there is sound and each has their own sound.
Then there is keyboard size, 61 or 88 keys
A friend of mine had both the Korg and the Yahama and he got rid of both of them and wants to just use a trigger keyboard with his computer and use the General Midi on the computer.
